Tesser Wins Gold Medal at West Coast Show for Chevys Campaign
San Francisco and Boulder, Colo., (Feb. 12, 2001) - Tesser, an integrated online development and brand services firm with offices in Boulder and San Francisco, was awarded top honors for its work on the Chevys Cinco de Mayo promotional campaign. Tesser's design team recently accepted a gold medal award at the West Coast Show, a prestigious show for graphic design, print advertising, Web sites, commercial photography and illustration.
"This recognition adds to Tesser's impressive resume of nearly 20 National Advertising Federation awards," said Tre Musco, CEO of Tesser. "It's a credit to our outstanding creative team that we were the only gold medal winner this year."
The West Coast Show, now in its 35th year, is the largest and longest running juried competition of its kind on the west coast. Entries are sent in from Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii. The Western Art Director's Club (WADC), a non-profit organization, has sponsored the show since 1965 and all profits go directly to the WADC Student Grants and Events Fund.
The award-winning piece is a four by six foot in-store, silk-screened poster, which is on display at Tesser's Colorado office. Tesser's work on the Chevys menu series also won an award of excellence at the show.
"This award offers Tesser continued recognition of our branding and online development team's commitment to excellence and outstanding client relationships," said Ross Shell, president of Tesser. All the winning entries of The 35th Annual West Coast Show were displayed at The Contract Design Center in San Francisco.
